Forensic Evaluations and Expert Testimony

Dr. Williamson has conducted forensic evaluations and given expert opinions and testimony about clinical psychology in federal, criminal, and civil court proceedings.  He has offered expert testimony on a range of issues including grief, depression, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).  Dr. Williamson has testified in court as an expert in clinical psychology more than 75 times, including cases involving verdicts in civil litigation of over a million dollars.  Attorneys or individuals will be given references upon request.


Dr. Williamson has also done extensive expert evaluations on issues related to immigration including cases related to torture, physical and sexual abuse, violence against women, political and religious persecution, discrimination against homosexuals, and extreme hardship to children.


Dr. Williamson also performs psychological fitness for duty evaluations for the United States Department of Defense.
